Hey TMP! Fall break is coming soon, and I'll have time to sit down and play games. I finished my thracians, and am starting my greeks. Anybody need a playtester? I would love to test your rules, I've done it in the past, and it's been a lot of fun, and has helped a few people get their rules out. Let me know if you need a playtester for ancients rules, as I would love to play some new games (haven't had one game since coming back to college.) My models are 1/72 based on 60mm/40mm let me know Thanks |

You can check out my "Battles on a Budget" ancient rules. There is a yahoo site. link I don't think you need a membership to look at the photos. I'll approve you so you can look at the rules in the file section. Just let me know. I use 1/72 plastics, hence the "Budget" part. Twelve units per side usually comes to less than 100 figures so less painting time as well. I play this with my kids so there isn't much of a learning curve. I need to get these posted to "free wargames rules" wiki. Pretty sure it will work with your current basing, you might have to track casualties a little differently. Are your Greeks classical or Macedonian? I give phalanxes deeper bases. Just check out the pics |
