Is DAS Clay sturdy enough to mold tree bases from?

To streamline some of the discussions around here, I propose the following new icons be added:

chainmail loincloth

*loin* – A chainmail loincloth indicating that the figure begin discussed is wearing impractical armour that is more suited for a Mr./Mrs./Ms./Miss Universe contest rather than the battlefield.

… and …

hilt

blade

tip

… which in series makes …

really big sword

*really* *big* *sword* – Keeping with the 21x21 icon and also the point of this is that the weapon is so grossly oversized that no one could lift, let alone accurately wield it in battle. So you need three icons in a row to even make that big a weapon.

One could even program a keyboard macro that automatically posts *lion* *really**big**sword* for you to save the trouble of pointing out that a lot of fantasy and sci fi figures are not … er … realistic.

Please note that I am not saying this isn't a legitimate criticism of the figures or that there is anything wrong with preferring more realism of certain types in fantasy or sci fi games. It just seems to me that said comments are a bit like, "This figure was made from materials found on planet Earth." While (probably) true, it seems a bit obvious and doesn't lead to particularly intriguing lines of discourse.

Also, today I am being forced to take the day off to burn some of the inordinate amount of travel compensation hours I have built up before transfer to my new job. So I'm a bit idle and possibly a bit snarky.

"*loin*"

I think I've found a flaw in your scheme:

"that automatically posts *lion*"

Roarrrr.

Ha, Ha, very good laugh

I hope your icon gets added to TMPs icons, plus a few more. I don't know what half of the current TMP ones mean or when it is appropriate to use them!

guinness as they say in some parts of California

Wow! What a feature! I hope you don't use the same system to order groceries online for delivery … I would hate for you to come home to a lion of beef or a nice juicy pork lion!

Dammit … I have new conversions to do now …

StarfuryXL5, thanks although I was aware of the list. I don't understand what they actually mean though. Eggnog? Unicorn? Iron Cross? Coolaid? When would it be appropriate to use them. That's what I don't know.

Surely, Unicorn is an offensive 'swingers' tag!! (or maybe it's just said by the people I mix with wink)

I only know two of them. I use the bleep when I want to make it look like I swore. I use guinness all the time, and the icon occasionally.

Some are described in the Glossary: TMP link

Well, "Fire Truck" and "Unicorn" are, at least.
