"Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) – a leader in the production of combat-proven small arms for governments, armies, and law enforcement agencies around the world – launches a foldable, detachable, stainless steel sight designed for the TAVOR and X95 families of assault rifles.

Functioning as a standard sight connected via Picatinny rails, it will be supplied as part of TAVOR and X95 rifles package. Platforms include additional back-up sights built into the Picatinny rails.

Meeting military standards – MIL-STD – the sight can be quickly and easily removed in order to install reflex sights, telescopes, night vision devices, etc. Enabling night shooting via built-in Tritium illumination, the new stainless steel sight can be ordered without Tritium lighting, in order to meet specific local regulations. Cost-efficient and reducing maintenance expenses, each sight can be individually replaced when needed. Calibration is easy and user-friendly, requiring no special tools – and is unaffected by sight detachment…"

I'm a big fan of this one. Very well thought out, economical movements for the shooter when going through the reloading motions. Uses the stock AR-15/M16 magazine too.

It's compact and the weight is kept down by the extensive use of composite resins.

But geez is it expensive!

Very nice … I like the "bullpup" design …

I have two of these rifles.

The first one came with a Mepro 21 sight mounted fixed.
Nice sight, but the originals wash out in bright light. Easily fixed now with an add on battery source.
It also has a folding front and rear sight below the stock that were fairly accurate on their own.

The second one is a flat top. It came with the standard below the stock fold down sights. In addition it came with a set like this of removable folding sights. All that on top of the 1913 rail.

Absolutely fun rifles and incredibly reliable.
Nice to see the US building them in house to get around all the US rifle import bans.

What about the weight?

The majority of the bulk is pulled into your armpit and you can actually hold it very comfortably for a pretty long period.

Your trigger hand acts as a pivot with the majority of the weight controlled by your shoulder. I think that is how it works anyway. This is very good as I am not a strong individual.

It is fairly well balanced as well. Comfortable to hold for long times and points easily.

I agree – fast becoming one of my favorite rifles…
