(pssst! Armand, new or upgraded equipment goes in Ultramodern, stuff prior to 2004 goes in Modern) Interesting, looks like they're adding network capabilities as well as maybe an independent commander's sight (tough to tell if it's a round cylinder on top of the turret or a grain silo in the background) I consider the independent commander's sight that can mark targets for the gunner, then search for a new target to be one of the more critical developments in armored warfare today. Networking/datalinks is the step above that, allowing other vehicles or recon elements to mark targets for the gunner. |
