Re-watching the battle scene in Ralph Feinnes' "Coriolanus" inspired me to try urban camo on my latest batch of Pig Iron figs.

Here are the results:

Add some of the new Zandris IV battle suits, an Old Crow IFV, and a I-Kore sniper, and it's a decent little force. I'm waiting on Khurasan's upcoming grav-drones to provide them with a gunsled or two.

Very interested. Thanks for showing them. Your Pig Iron figures are very well painted and closely resemble the soldiers in the film "Coriolanus".

Wasn't aware of "Coriolanus" but looks like a good one to watch.

You've posted this under SF Gallery but quite frankly it so closely resembles what I would regard as a modern European conflict that it is a shame those posting news articles under Ultramodern don't have the wit or imagination to link their posts to something wargameable like "Coriolanus". Plenty of wargame ideas from the video trailer you provided.

Ooh, hush-my-mouth. Pardon me, Dentatus, I'm being a tart on your post.

Shakespeare-snobs might not like the re-make, but I found it solid and faithful the spirit of the original.

Glad you enjoy the figs, venezia.

I saw some rather neat drones in the new ranges from bombshell miniatures for their Counterblast game. Might want to check them out.

Dentatus, your troopers make me think of the soldiers in Children of Men. Very nicely done by the way! I drop into your blog regularly. I do like the games you run.

Thanks guys. Glad you like 'em. Have to bloody them on the table top very soon. Run them through their paces.

YMMV, but I enjoyed the movie. Thought Feinnes and Butler did a solid job. The battle scene and knife duel clinched it for me though.
