Who makes a good 15mm M21 81mm mortar half track model? I haven't been able to find one. Guys firing the mortar and the 50 cal being present are preferred. Thanks! |

Skytrex do the M21 and far more common M4/M4A1: link If you're interested, the M21 was a very rare beastie, with only 110 vehicles built, compared to nearly 600 each of the M4 & M4A1. Half of the M21s went to the 2nd French Armored Division and they were by far the main user. US 10th Armored Division received at least three M21s and nobody seems to know where the rest went, though some certainly went to the US Army in the PTO. |

I have the ancient Military Miniatures NZ model, which is nice, but way out of production. |

Jemima, Thanks for link. I saw that on the old glory website where it was labeled as an M4A1 mortar ht not the M21. It looks more like an M4A1 to me com paired to a picture I found on olive drab (no 50 cal). I did see the other stats you pointed out, but the scenario book I'm working on calls for the M21. Since I'm playing the US first against my Dad's Germans, I wanted an extra excuse for more HMG's. Doesn't seem like one can have too many. |
