I am going to try the OP 14 rules for the very large battle. I am planning to use 1 6mm Irregular Miniatures base as the equivalent of 1 figure in larger scales which would give 4 bases per infantry brigade. Are there any scenarios on line for these rules? Any tips on using these rules would also be appreciated. Alan |

The Marne, Guimbinnen and at least one other are available. |

Various scenarios (and accounts of the refights) have been published in the WD Journal 'The Nugget'. Back issues available as PDFs from the WD website. I also use one Irregular strip per 'figure' for 6mm (but tend to use my existing 15mm or 20mm bases in the larger scales). Tips? Pay very careful attention to the rules around replacing hits on forward brigades from those in the rear. You will need to do this, a lot. Don't manouvre in march column anywhere in range of enemy artillery! Note that even victorious attackers in an assault will always take a hit (if they lose, they take a hit per unit, ouch). If attacking from the flank/rear, there is only a 50% chance of taking this loss. |
