I have a sizeable 15mm Sea Peoples army and I'm looking to finally give them someone to fight other than my Hittites. I quite fancy Myceneans or Trojans as a project, but the last time I looked into this I had a great deal of trouble finding correct 13-11th BC figures. Whos would you suggest as a good range ? TIA |

Both Essex and Magister Miletum make useful Mtceneans types. Both also do Carians and Lydian types. |

I finished this exact project in the spring. Hopefully this is a link back to it. TMP link |

For some technical reason our club started a new Forum earlier this year but the old forum was still live, but not being used, until Oct 1st. I have asked our admin guy if the article can be resurrected but in the meantime my short answer would be Old Glory 15's for the Later Myceneans of the Trojan War. Most other 15mm ranges like Essex and MM have figures more suited to the Early Mycenean and Minoan period. |

Can someone tell me if fighting naked was part of the late Mycenean culture ? Osprey is unhelpful on this TIA |

I don't think so. I used Peter Connolly's book as my main reference and the evidence he used from vases and wall paintings suggest not. |
