From our friend Javier in Gran Canaria – a 'Battle Troll' scenario with Vikings taking on actual trolls.

We (by which I mean 'Roderick') are working on Battle-Troll 2: Electric Boogaloo, which will have rules for fictional items like trolls, giants, dwarves and North America. Also a lot of stuff about raiding closer to home, like sensible people do.

Here's the main rules, with scenarios and lots of other stuff:

There you go "trolling" for new player. Great AAR btw.

I'm excited about hearing more about the fictional North America!!!

Loved the AAR! And I will have to have a game where breaking wind can be used as an attack. evil grin

That is a very well done AAR. I have the PAL Robin Hood rules, but may have to pick these up at some point, just to experience a grimmer, more fog-enshrouded world.

Apparently this imaginary new land is called Vinland; while enticingly filled with grapes and timber and good grass and all the things that we've found Greenland to be disappointingly short of, it's inhabited by angry unipeds.

I don't think we can deal with that.

Looking forward to that new supplement. I did not know nothing about it.
In the meantime I will see how to adapt Battle Troll to tradicitonal fantasy with dwarves, elves and the like; being the most difficult part the magic (maybe could be something similar to that of LOTR).

I am personally waiting for Battle-Troll 3 in 3D!

Going on a troll hunt.
Gonna catch a big one.
I'm not afraid… but Ivar is.

Maybe the rules should be "Vinland or bust" or perhaps "Trolls don't build boats". One more "Adventures in Nord bonking".

Only one way to deal with a troll.

Lock his account.

Over on our website, you can even see some beta-thinking on the rules for "Foreign Things" (like horsemen, castles, and stuff you won't find in Iceland) and "Monsters" (which you will).
