I was considering scraping these all together as the 3d file has issues and what I am wanting is not quite what I have – I went in and hand sculpted all the panels and hatches – Overall I am beginning to like these I have all new guns to tie the look into my existing universe and made a better mold getting better casting quality -- While I fine tune my casting skills I am offering the $7.00 USD APC and the $9.00 USD Tank. There are also some bundle deals so head over to the store and check them out the 6.00 apc and the 7.50 tank. Once I get presure casting down the prices will not be this low again – Help me learn and I will help you spend less -- this design will be getting a overhaul on the 3d side so these will not be produced once I have new mark ready.

Here is with a rebel minis apc, titan soldier and a gitungi.

Here is the first mold with old weapons – if you wanted these guns for tanks instead of new ones email me I still have some and would switch them out for you.

Relly nice, any plans for them to be fitted with tracks at some point? Maybe an additional kit that could be purchased? Loveing the design!

These are very cool, even if you are not happy with them I know a lot of folks will want them including myself.

Is that Gunship a modded Raven from Clear Horizon?

Have to agree with you on the Grav tanks, just not feeling them. I think the designs are too simple and the casting doesn't look great either.

Micropanzer04 Oct 2014 6:07 a.m. PST

the issue is not cat quality it is the 3d print -- detail is too soft almost causes a blur --- the casting is fine

for being drop poured the twin barrels look great and crisp because the 3d file had crisp detail.

No this is a price vs issue is the price that is lower than nearly everything out there worth it -- I could pay probably almost 2k and have file fixed reprint and have a pro company cast and charge 14.99 for them each cast and that may be what is needed but if I do that that means redesign the issues I dont like --

here are khurasan cast, micropanzer cast, rebel cast and combat wombat.

here is renders – dont want to pay 500-1000 to print on pro-factory machine as the detail is under 9 microns on some parts and will still have issues. the main one being khurasan asked me to change turret as the artist did something similar for him on a tank that he will be releasing some time down the road.

here are the test prints -- I went in and hand sculpted all the new details and used existing weapons from my universe to tie the look in

that is a clear horizon ship modded with green stuff and given valkyur battle raven weapons.

end of day this post was to see if I could recoup some lost funds and learn how to cast better -- I have an amazing tank painter friend will see what he can do with a squad -- if nothing else at least I have something to play with until I can afford to redo project.

I didn't ask you to change it -- I pointed out that Dom was recycling the same designs he had made for me in designs he was then selling to you. I sent you a render and you agreed that the turret was basically the same.

AVAMANGO04 Oct 2014 7:29 p.m. PST

For what its worth i think the actual design and quality of casting looks good enough to me, but as you have already mentioned the detail is a bit on the shallow side and needs to be sharper. I must say that i much prefer the latter weapons that you have added from your universe… :) Zac
