We finally outgrew our old store and our new Pulp Alley store is now online. Don't be surprised if you go to our old store and are redirected to the new one. If you are visiting for the first time, the new store link is -- store.pulpalley.com We're expecting to have two new Pulp Alley figures released later this month -- DA Denton and Red Queen. More to come…
We sent the final draft for Vice Alley to our editor and it looks like we're still on track for a November release. This book introduces two new character types (Gangs and Associates), ten new perks, over two dozen new abilities, rules for Bystanders, and a thrilling Pulp Alley campaign…
I am hoping to have a pack of new Pulp Alley cards ready to release at the same time as Vice Alley. 'Pact of the Oginali' brings 10 new Fortune cards and 5 new Reward cards to your Pulp Alley games…
And there may even be a few more surprises before the end of the year!
THANKS for all your help and support!

Will Vice Alley cover more details on the secret societies? |
Conrad Geist | 01 Oct 2014 8:52 a.m. PST |
Will Statuesque be carrying these new titles as well as the new figures? |

Those sculpts are beautiful. The cover of Vice Alley is also very, very well done. This is rather pedantic, but the artist is really to complimented on getting the cut of the suit right. A pet peeve of mine has always been the wonky suits seen in most gaming artwork and figures. It might be because a lot of people aren't familiar with suits these days (much less their cut), but it always struck me as odd from people who can obsess over the number of rivets on a tank or the correct lacing on a tunic. Period haircuts has been another area of trouble. Your cover, on the other hand, really evokes both the era and the genre. The minis do the same. Smashing! And I'm sure the content is great also!! |

Daryl They used the right source material. This photo is from "Little Caesar" starring Edward G. Robinson. Look familiar?

@ Shadow -- You know I only paint to play. I never feel like my paint jobs are intended for the screen. :) @ Drummer -- No, I was hoping to include more secret society stuff but there was not room. We're hoping to release a Pulp Secret Societies book next year. @ Conrad -- Yes, the miniatures and Vice Alley will definitely be available through Statuesque. And probably Pact of Orginali as well. @ Daryl -- Glad you appreciate it. I probably take such stuff far more seriously than I should, but I like things it be accurate. THANKS all!

>>@ Daryl -- Glad you appreciate it. I probably take such stuff far more seriously than I should, but I like things it be accurate.<< I'm *glad* that you take the pulp era seriously, and who's more of a pulp era gangster icon than Edward G. Robinson. There are equals, like Cagney and Bogart, but no better. |

Ah, Shadow, well that explains it then, doesn't it. No wonder it looked so good! I thank you and salute your knowledge of the source material, sir! Edit: just looked at those sculpts again. Take a look at the brim and crown of that fedora. The sculptor nailed it! Really nice to see. |

>>I thank you and salute your knowledge of the source material, sir!<< Thank you for the compliment. (-: >>Take a look at the brim and crown of that fedora. The sculptor nailed it!<< Yep, he did. The heavy look of the suit, coat and shoes are really good too. Watching those 1930's/40's flicks, the suits looked like they were made of horse blanket material! |

AND… You can start pre-ordering the Pact of the Oginali. Pact of the Oginali is a 15 card booster pack for Pulp Alley, inspired by the oldest of secret societies and includes 10 new Fortune cards and 5 new Reward cards. Congratulations and thanks for keeping the game alive! I've never seen so much positive effort promoting a game of this type! The fact that you two enjoy it so much is very apparent and we, who play and enjoy the game, are glad that you do! I am most definitely a fan. :-) |
