October Wargames Illustrated has an emphasis on modern and Near Future warfare and feature some great pics and articles that with our minis. Its in the shops now. Here's a taster.

Thanks, The print article focuses on the Hobby stuff, minis available etc, the online is more my take on the future of land war, trying to justify why tanks and grunts might still exist in recognisable forms on the battlefield and not be replaced by hackers and cyber warfare.
Basically the overall aim was to show traditional historical gamers that there are figures out there that although labelled as Sci-fi were perfect for use in near future combat. I just had to filter out the giant robots and Phasers :-). and the nice side effect was to give exposure to the companies that make all this nice stuff.
