looks like it could use a bit more outside edge detailing…perhaps a strip on each side that matches up with the actual walking part of the bridge and interlocks with the bracing |

I considered doing that but the design file was such a mess to do that I didn't want to play with it anymore. Plus it would have increased the price a bit. Adding those 2 strips would push me over to 3 full production sheets of MDF producing 6 kits to 2 sheets producing 3 kits and that would raise the price by $3 USD+.
