Hey everyone, long time no see! I've been really busy at college recently, so no posts, and worst of all NO TIME TO PAINT! Between cramming for exams, and inventing a trading card game (for which the kickstarter will soon be up!!) I haven't had time for my gauls or thracians… But, I have been taking an ancient greek class, and in it we are reading and analyzing the Iliad. This has inspired me to get the classics club involved in a fun game of the trojan war. I don't care if the trojan war happened or not, after all, we are grown men, and women playing with metal (or for the brave, plastic) soldiers, wargaming is supposed to be fun, not accurate. So issues of accuracy needn't be addressed, except for amount of chariots on either side.. which really confuses me, as homer never quotes a steady number of chariots for either faction, rather, he just mentions that they are there What would be a good, fast set of rules to run multiplayer trojan war battles with? Initially, because of my lack of time to paint, we will just use markers, then evolve into minis. I have the whole club excited, but no idea what to play with. Let me know guys Thanks Austin |

Wargames Soldiers and Strategy Magazine had an article in the last issue for using the Hordes of the Things rules for gaming the battles in the Iliad. It seemed like a fast and fun way to go about it. |

Homeric Hack! Is a great set for this conflict. Lots of colour rules like "Sackers of Cities", divine intervention, heroes, chariots, Trojan allies and more. |

The UK disti for the HH rules appears to have gone out of business, and Amazon won't sell to me because I'm in the UK. How do I get a set ? |
