To Whom It May Concern: (Which hopefully is anyone on this page) Waterloo Minis will be making a return to business! The target date is December 1st, 2014 to have the WM website up and running, restocked and ready to go. For now, please post any questions you may have here, so that I can answer to the best of my ability, until all is set for email communication. Just a bit about me: I am a long-time gamer and hobbyist; I've run two different game stores/departments (not owned, just run); I'm an avid fan of all things Napoleonic Naval. A couple of my ships, Langtons, bought from Rob back in the day: docs.google.com/drawings/d/1dtDyRTW6bxLhDKRacMoOtCU7gO9_1IuMsUG4oULsi7I/edit?usp=sharing |

Well this is good news. Are you taking over Rob's old stock (if there's any left)? Be sure and make an announcement when you are ready to go, please! BWW |
SgtPrylo | 30 Sep 2014 2:38 p.m. PST |
Rob and I will be working out any issues with remaining stock, if there is any left. And I will definitely be making the announcement. |

First of all: Very good news, even when i am from germany every news for a good shop opened are good news for our hobby! Fine painted ships but why are the flags at the stern in the wrong direction? On sailing ships of this time the flags should go with the wind as the ships are slower then windspeed. |
SgtPrylo | 01 Oct 2014 5:59 a.m. PST |
Well aware of that, Arakus. These flags in particular have some play in them, and there is a bit of a perspective issue with the photography. The rear ship in particular, has a 'loose' flag on the thread. The flags are actually larger than they look. Note the pennants are in the correct orientation. |

@SgtPrylo Sorry, should not be any offence! :-) As i said they are fine painted, i whish i could do it so beautiful. |

Good news! I was a regular customer and very dissapointed when Rob decided to call it quits. But he had the best of reasons so……:) His are big shoes to fill. Rob is the very best to work with and I have come to consider him a friend. I am glad he found someone to take the business off his hands. |

None taken Arakus. :) Thanks for the comments. |

Sorry for the delay in chiming in here, but I do want to endorse Jeff in taking up the reigns of Waterloo Minis. As with any hobby business, it takes some time and communication to get it going and we are working together to get him up and running smoothly. I've already told him what a loyal customer base there is, so I hope we will all have a great relationship together, as I plan on being his customer too! The dwindling stock I have still shown on the website will be available from me until his start date of December 1st, then he will handle all orders. Until then, if anyone sees something on the website you want, I hope you'll send me an order. Thank you all for the kind words and support…my girls and I are doing well, and I know I made the right decision. |

To avoid confusion once Jeff gets the website going under his command, I have changed my screen name on TMP. Since I feel like I am in the waning years of my hobby, I was thinking of my beginning years in it and a song came to mind from way back when. It seems appropriate for me now, as I have often hoped that, should senility take me in the end, I hope to be lost in a dream of a long ago battlefield, living some unknown and imagined glory, perhaps on a canister-swept deck with splinters and salt spray flying all around me. |

I am having technical difficulties with the webstore. If you went there and found various electronics for sale, rest assured I did NOT change what I was selling. Turns out the error was between the monitor and the chair – meaning me. I am currently working through these, and the site does work. Do NOT use waterloominis.com. Use this store.waterloominis.com/catalog Let me know if there are any issues, and thanks for your patience! |

I hope everyone will bear with Jeff as he struggles with this. What we thought would be a smooth transition has been terrible what with the troubles with the website. I know Jeff has plenty of product, so if you are familiar with the products you can easily email him with your needs. I will be happy to answer questions about the products, just so Jeff doesn't get overloaded as he works to get the store site fixed. And lastly, one can always get good info from the Langton Miniatures site, then place your order with Jeff if you're here in the US. Just please don't give up on him or Waterloo Minis if you need Langton stuff; he'll get it to you, for sure! |

Got it. Vol, thanks. I am rebuilding from the ground up. Mostly an upgrade in software. But it requires that the product catalog is re-entered. Long story short, I am aiming for the 1st of February. Thanks for your patience. |

@minis: Thanks for the good word! |
SgtPrylo | 31 Jan 2015 8:06 a.m. PST |
We are on schedule to bring the webstore up tomorrow, 2/1/15. To thank everyone for their patience, I've set a 10% discount coupon that you can use. Just type the code 'welcome' (no quotes) into the box at checkout. The coupon will be good through the 28th of Feb, so stop on by. EDIT: I am still adding the data for the stock, but all of the Napoleonics are ready to go. If you need buildings, Anglo-Dutch, etc. Keep a weather-eye out they will be up in the next week or so. |

Awesome news, Jeff! I can't wait to see the work you've done! I'll be there first thing in the morning to check it out. Best wishes! Rob |
