I have some models from Cromwell that have rather large mold tabs on the tracks (see image here: link – Click the image to enlarge) and I'm not sure what might be the best way to remove this excess resin.

Any help would be appreciated!

Razor saw to get the bulk of the tab off then file the track back into proper shape.

Yep, razor saw and file, but beware of the dust generated by this. Or you could just base it as is and cover with mud, grass, etc.!

Thanks for the advice and suggestions! I'm going to try the saw, but I have a feeling that corporalpat's idea of basing them will be what eventually happens.
