Re reading Duffy's The'45 and noiticed that in one of the appendices he notes that Fitz Jame's Horse were equipped with a breast plate painted black. The uniform is red coat faced blue and buskin breeches. White lace. The Lifeguard who they were often brigaded with wore a blue coat faced red. The numbers involved for both would match a wargames unit quite nicely. |

Absolutely right although it's debateable if they wore he cuirass due to the poor state of the horses. However I will be getting the figures made with breastplate, due for release in the new year |

Crann Tara are lovely figures. I'd say they did as they seem to have enjoyed the pick of everyone elses horses. |
