Re reading Duffy's The'45 and noiticed that in one of the appendices he notes that Fitz Jame's Horse were equipped with a breast plate painted black. The uniform is red coat faced blue and buskin breeches. White lace.

The Lifeguard who they were often brigaded with wore a blue coat faced red. The numbers involved for both would match a wargames unit quite nicely.

Absolutely right although it's debateable if they wore he cuirass due to the poor state of the horses.
However I will be getting the figures made with breastplate, due for release in the new year

Crann Tara are lovely figures.

I'd say they did as they seem to have enjoyed the pick of everyone elses horses.
