I wanted to thank everyone for another great Hurricon! It was a fun show of seeing you all, moving toy soldiers, post-game cigars, and generally hanging out. I especially want to thank the Board of Directors, who make it all possible and put in a ton of work. You guys make the South shows my favorites of all the cons I attend. I am already looking ahead to Recon, where I'm brainstorming a whole new twist on the Saturday night Big Game. I'll also host another ATKM Friday night game, scenario TBD. I hope you had fun, too, and everyone got home safe. Ken |

The tribute to Larry Brom Sword and the Flame weekend at Hurricon was a huge success. We ran 5 games that were full of players, fun and strange happenings. There will be AARs and pictures coming soon. Thanks to Lori Brom for gift certificates for the best player of 55 Days at Peking, Save Rorke's Drift and The Wind and the Lion. Save Rorke's Drift won the best table award for that theme's session. Bill Hogan gave away Service in China Medals for the two 55 Days at Peking games. Everyone had fun, there was good spirits all around (literally and liquidly.) For those of you who couldn't make it, we hope to try this again at Recon. To cap off the weekend the Wind and the Lion was a smash with 2 twists thrown in that Jeff and I never expected. Check out Jeff's blog at Sgt. Guiness. |

Seems to me the shows of Hurricon and Recon just keep getting better . Great turnout of dealers, games and folks. And while Im mainly a historical gamer I could'nt stop watching the crazy little "Shire" game ( fantastic terrain ). Bsst Mark |

Enjoyed Hurricon from a Gamemaster perspective as well as a vendor. Great gamers, excellent selection of vendors and a great group of GMs. For a convention of its size, the ratio of outstanding terrain continues to impress. Marc and the BOD have really turned Recon and Hurricon into a "cannot miss" events. |
