Does anyone have any info, please? release date? Price? Will the changes make the game more useable for Burma (movement issues)? |

Thanks for the question Nick We are still "fiddling about" with small details. When released there will be the rule book and a company book. No big changes to be made just odds. The delay was unexpected, but WW2 is a really complex "thing" with so many variables. The books will be spiral bound and in black and white to keep costs down. If coloured photos of lovely 28mm games is the main criterion (as with a magazine review of our Viking rules) then we will disappoint. There are however, an excellent set of innovative and elegant mechanisms that should give a great game to those who play the game in PBI. all the best martin |

Thanks for the update Martin. Eye candy in rule books is very nice but I'd rather have a solid set of rules! Never been disappointed with your rules so far Martin so can't see it starting now… Any thoughts on updating Abteilung any time? Cheers Nick |

Actually, I much prefer the eye-candy in RFCM rules to the sort of thing you get in, say, Black Powder … It is the sort of eye-candy that helps you understand how the game works and inspires you to create the armies … ! Phil |

I agree with Yesthatphil. Eye candy should help you learn the rules or at the 'least' help set the atmosphere. But an excellent place for eye candy is explaining the rules! |

Eye candy for the sake of pretty pictures is not what I want in my rules. Eye candy that helps explain and demonstrate the rules, illustrate troops from the period, or otherwise improves the usability of the rules yes. In short, Martin, your rules presentation works well for me. |

I was just reading through Bayonets and Ideology this morning which is pretty much PBI and I thought what a damn fine set of rules these are -the square thing really makes things very straight forward. Will anything be added to BAIT from PBI? On the subject of eye candy -please keep the pic of the 8th Army unit in BAIT -makes me smile every time I see it!!! |

Can I ask if we will be seeing V3 released before Christmas 2014? I want to put it on my list for Santa. Would I be better ordering this through Mikes metal models here in Oz? Cheers Andy :-) |
