never eared before about this potential little scenario involving various and interesting troop types…some of them člite ones: Commandos, Alpini, Sailors, Black Shirts, San Marco Marines..

The Italians in WWII had a number of interesting units and many fought well in many cases. But unfortunately they like the Poles and some others don't get the good press as "winners", etc. … Like some of the other armies in WWII. My grand parents came from Italy to the US in the late 1800s. So I had some interest in the Italian Army in WWI, WWII, etc. …
