I need a set of Old West rules that can handle some 100 figs.
Now the vast majority are going to be generic types. Horde of peons, bandits, a few elite gunslingers you know the type.
So far only the old GW Legends of the West rules seem to fit the bill. But I hate revolvers that only fire once per turn.
Any suggestions?

Maybe play around with The Sword and The Flame?

Recreating the fight scene at the end of Blazing Saddles? With a hundred figures you need something that is battalion level.

The Legends of the West rules do allow fanning with revolvers. Also they would be easily modifiable to allow for a higher rate of fire from revolvers.

"Hey, you in the jail" by Peter Pig using multiple figures on a stand, if that has any appeal to you.

You may also want to look at Gaslight. It has various levels of 'hero' characters as well as various qualities of lesser mortals in groups with a leader. The weapons stats can also be modified as required, multi-shot, extra powerful etc.

'A Good Day to Die' should theoretically do the job, although you might want to simplify the individual pinning effect for speed of play.

Here's a TSATF variant for you:

Second the suggestion for GASLIGHT too, either would do. Also Two Hour Wargames' "Colonial Actions."
