Front Rank don't make an Elite company trumpeter for their Chasseurs a Cheval. So I made one from green stuff. My love of Front Rank figures grows as I paint them. I used to think they were a bit chubby. But they paint up very nicely.

Thanks everyone. I just noticed that the elite trumpeter has a beautiful, long, plume. I will have to add that one! I will have to see if there is space for the barrel sash and chest lace. There is limited "real estate" in that area of the figure. |

CHortle, if you go by the belief " all plume or all plumes off" where the unit all worn something or all not… per the CO's command. Perhaps your trumpeter would have removed his, as the rest of his troop has! just saying MG |
