link The author claims that it is merely Al-Quaeda wearing a different har. |

Yup that is correct. Even Syrians in the area have no idea what that is. It is actually just the al-Nusra front of Al-Qaeda. I have no idea why the admin felt it necessary to make up a new name. |

Because (and at the risk of sounding political here), "Al-Quaeda is soooooooooo George W. Bush", and we have a newer and hipper, more cutting edge, high speed, in-your-face administration now, and well…they need a new "Super-Villain" that is worthy of them and their talents….. *sarcasm mode off* |

"The Khorosan Group does not exist?" For that, we have to go to a reliable source:

Cosmic Reset | 27 Sep 2014 7:13 a.m. PST |
OMG, that is so horrible. Okay, check this out: For decades NATO has identified a Soviet built fighter aircraft as the "Fishbed". Do you know that the Soviets and Russians never actually named that aircraft "Fishbed"? The nerve! How dare they? |
Only Warlock | 27 Sep 2014 8:26 a.m. PST |
That's not the same and you obviously know it. |
Winston Smith | 27 Sep 2014 8:38 a.m. PST |
The OFM reliably informs me that "har" is a typo for "hat". Carry on. |
Lucius | 27 Sep 2014 8:54 a.m. PST |
NATO at least knew that a Fishbed was a Soviet aircraft. They didn't go around telling the public that Fishbeds were actually submarines, and that they were not made by the Soviets at all. |

They exist along with a plethora of groups similar to them … however, their numbers are bit fewer now … |

Every lie has an element of truth to it. You only need to determine who the liar is. |

Whig terrorists? Seriously?

The Great Father in Washington told us al Quadea was on the run. Therefore if there was an imminent threat it could not come from al quadea. Simples. |

IS, ISIL, ISIS, Daesh. Who cares if the administration decides to rename a faction of AQ based on geography? They can call it whatever they want as far as I'm concerned. |
Mako11 | 27 Sep 2014 3:07 p.m. PST |
"I have no idea why the admin felt it necessary to make up a new name". They've got to keep their narrative going, since it looks bad for someone to be wrong, and even worse to appear that he was lying again. |
Legion 4 | 28 Sep 2014 7:54 a.m. PST |
28mm and Makoi are correct, IMO … They are basically Islamists/moslems/muslims, etc. with a fanatical outlook, agenda, etc. … Which it appears until they move from the 7th into the 20th, let alone the 21st Century, they will continue to be a problem for much of the world … Or as I like to call them … "targets" … |
Legion 4 | 28 Sep 2014 7:56 a.m. PST |
As far as terrorists in wigs/whigs … it's much too hot especially during the day to wear wigs/whigs in the desert … |
Charlie 12 | 28 Sep 2014 12:43 p.m. PST |
Of course the author of this article is TOTALLY unbiased (check his bio). Yeah, right. Leave to the right wing wackos to jump on any excuse to grind their own petty agendas. As for the name being right or wrong: WHO CARES? Doesn't change a damn thing operationally, does it now. |

Random Dude When has that ever stopped looking cool?
Looking cool and being cool are two different things … |
Legion 4 | 28 Sep 2014 3:48 p.m. PST |
And you are correct, IMO coastal … you can call'm anything … but from our POV … they are the "bad guys" … |

Andrew C. Mcarthy prosecuted the 1993 World Trade Center bombers. He is a man who is worth listening to. |
