I have two battalions of Perry British and two Victrix French, and some French Dragoons that are painted and mounted that I am planning on selling. How do you guys recommend that I package these for shipping? |

I normally use thin self-adhering bubble wrap around the figures and packing peanuts in the box. Roll the figures in the wrap and tape the middle/ends. |

Have had great success using rice crispies. One layer of troops in the box loose, cover fully with puffed rice, repeat. Like making lasagna. This was a top tip from a very experienced buyer. It's a bit messy to unpack, but it brushes off and is very safe for models. |

I received troops from the rice crispy/puff rice method with mix success. Under caused troops to be banged up and over stuffing dismounted some. Caution is the word. have had zero issue with receipts in bubble wrap method. MG |

I've used the puffed rice (not rice crispies) method for years, never had an issue with breakage from a buyer. |

As a kid I can seem to remember asking my mom to get Kellogg's Rice Krispies, because they'd have little plastic toys in a cellophane wrapper buried in the box…. Same kind of thing seems to be happening today – but now we get to exclaim, 'oh look, a regiment of painted Napoleonic British infantry. Yay! Just what I wanted…..' ;-) I'm not sure I'd eat the Rice Krispies though….. |

Two methods. 1. Box within a box. All figs wrapped in bubble wrap and packed snugly into a carton which is then placed inside the actual postal box along with any type of void fill. 2. Mount all of the figures to a piece of stiff card that is the same size as your postal box using semi-permanent glue-dots. Fill your postal box with bean-bag filler then place the card mounted figures in upside-down, finish with a layer of bubble wrap. |

I use Kleenex PLAIN to wrap each figure then put the bundles in a ziploc bag and the bag in a small priority shipping box again filling in with Kleenex to keep the bag secure..if it is a larger order repeat step one to fill a medium or large shipping box filling in around the smaller boxes with Styrofoam peanuts..it works |

Thanks for the advice. Now I need to take some pictures and post the figs that I plan on selling. |
