Courtesy of Ian Johnson. This will let you keep track of your entire platoon, including tracking individual grenades if you are so inclined.

Really cool, thanks.

Question for you Weasel. Is NEIS the best way to game mid-future sci-fi skirmishes? More like Tomorrow's War than 40k if that helps. Or should I be using FiveCore? Feel free to respond via PM. Thanks.

Both will do it. If you want platoon level action, with mechanized infantry and all that, NEIS (and there'll be a dedicated scifi option in the future).

I haven't played Tomorrow's War, but from what I remember of Force on Force, its definitely in that vein of a more "military" feeling game but maybe quicker.

FiveCore is more squad action, so 5-6 figures on each side. Its also more dynamic and character driven and maybe a bit more inclined towards "cartoon" games, though you can certainly play a serious game with the rules.

Make sense?

Patrick, Having played 'Force on Force' and '40k' (although it was the first edition so many years ago) I much prefer 'No End in Sight'.

If you want to play a platoon with support level game, then I highly recommend these rules.

The rules are easy to learn and fast to play, but games can be very tense as you make tactical decisions that can make or break your mission goals.

It would be very easy to play mid-future sci-fi games with these rules.
