3-Wide is a stock car racing boardgame that is designed to be used with 1:64 or 1:87 scale diecast cars. If you are a fan of Nascar, gaming and diecast cars then check it out!

I am interested in those things, but by the great horned spoon, lad, If you're gonna share it, put it on out there.

I'm not interested in giving up my contact info to somebody I never met for a pig in a poke.

Agreed.

Really? I've put everything out there except for the rules. And for that all I am asking for is an email address. It's not like I am going to call you or show up at your door.

Personally, I have an email address that I can use to register for things when I *know* I am going to get spammed. I have another address for personal use and yet another for work.

Anyway, I am just a bit surprised by your reaction. I don't know – if a lot of folks feel that way then I guess I can open everything up for anyone to download with no questions asked – but I didn't think an email address was too onerous of a request for a free game. Maybe I'm wrong.

Glenn

Ps – you won't get spammed.

Ok, after further reflection, the rules are now in the clear. Go get em.

Thank you.

You are very welcome!

Very interested in this. My only issue is the dice. I hope you can devise a system that uses standard dice rather than stick on decals. After a few uses the decals will start to peel off.

Thanks for your interest! I think the quality of the dice will depend on how they are made. For my own personal prototype I used wooden blocks that I hand painted. It took a long time. You probably don't want to do that unless you love the game as much as I do.

I intend to get some indented dice with stickers the next time I make a 3-Wide prototype. I own some indented dice from "Battle Cry" that I have had for many years and they are not peeling. So if the stickers and dice are the same quality as that, then it should be quite nice. I wonder if others have the same experience with Battle Cry dice?

Custom engraved dice would be wonderful but they cost a fortune. I'm not going there unless I find hundreds of people willing to pre-order this game.

Of course I could always come up with a chart that maps a standard d6 to each of the four custom die types. I can't see that being any fun at all. Boiling it all down to a single roll would also be a problem. The math would be pretty painful, and once again, not fun.

I hope you can come up with a satisfactory way to give this game a try. Also, take note of the free dice offer I extended to play-testers of this game. It is linked here:

First – Maybe you don't remember Parker Bro's "Formula One". Cars could accelerate up to 3 spaces and decelerate by 1 space per turn. This is an excellent car racing game. None of that having-to-turn-right namby-pamby stuff. 8-)

Second – Stop by Wal-Mart's toy department for some "HotWheels" stock cars (yeah-yeah-yeah!)

Third – Stop by the office supply store for lotza color printer ink!!

Forth – Wear out the printer!

NOW! – Boogity! – Boogity! – Boogity! Let's go racin', boys!
