I've painted up some Perry plastic French line infantry. The plastics were a boon to people short on cash but with time to paint. I guess there are some very large Napoleonic armies out there which have these in bulk.

Nice job, but its such a shame the Perry's make the box with half Greatcoat, half summer gear…sigh! |

In the Midlands (UK), around Nottingham, my friends often mix great coated figures into units for variety. It has become a sort of fashion over the years. The Perrys are in that area and visiting some of the same wargame shows my friends put on display games at. Perhaps that is where they were influenced to do their figures this way, or perhaps my friends copied the Perrys! I like it, but I guess there is no arrangement which will work for everyone. |
