I am a bit surprised not to have seen more chat on this great offering. Minden's artillery and equipment pieces are in my opinion the best out there for the period, accurate to the nth degree, perfectly cast, absolutely brilliant. And excellent value for money too.
The Austrian guns are funded but it looks as if we are struggling a bit to reach the stretch goal for the Russian artillery. It would be a shame to pass up on this opportunity to lock in some great Russian Seven Years War guns. There is still just over three weeks to go, so please bring it to the attention of your friends and acquaintances interested in this period.
Perhaps if we can provoke a surge of new interest we could persuade Minden to put in an intermediate stretch goal between where we are and the final full set of Russian guns -something like one of the announced Russian guns and a light three-pounder battalion piece (which was the same basic design back as far back as the GNW and still in use during the SYW) somewhere around the 6,000 or 6,500 mark.

In case you are wondering, I have nothing to do with Minden, I am just a backer for this kickstarter who loves their stuff and wants to see more shiny toys as soon as possible.

Check out their existing field pieces and equipment – they are great.

Thank you for the kind comments about the Minden artillery equipment Chokidar.

I think that you have a good idea in setting an intermediate goal at the $6,000 USD level. We are currently at $5,000 USD in pledges. Perhaps potential backers figured that the initial goal was essentially funded so they backed off from committing anything.

So this evening when I get home and have access to an unrestricted computer, I will set the $6,000 USD level for the Prussian Brummer and the Shuvalov Secret Howitzer and make some other adjustments to the other stretch goals.

I set up seven pledge levels below $100 USD hoping to attract some smaller pledges, figuring some people might only want one cannon model. So I am pleasantly surprised that the majority of the pledges are above $100. USD

Thank you to everyone who has backed this project so far. As we get down to the final week, I will become more of a pest on TMP to help get some lift over the stretch goals.

The Russians and their cannon are going to be really cool.
