Nicely done! What do you use for SCC15?

Idontbelieveit, thanks for the kind words. I've basecoated with vallejo brown violet, black wash, re instate the brown violet and then drybrush with vallejo Russian WW2 uniform to finish up. Then stippling and drybrushing US field drab to create the dust and muck finish! Hope that helps

Thanks GLM, I'm not keen in covering everything with mud. I know its each to thier own when it comes to weathering vehicles but I like to be able to the model so subtle is the word

Berzerker73, thank you also. I'm having a bit of a break from WW2 being my main project and trying to finish up some side projects, but I will keep the WW2 in the paint table.

So thanks for looking
Cheers Russ

That is a good looking kit and you have painted it very well. Nice photographs.I wonder how long that took you from start to finish? What undercoat colour did you use?

Venezia sta affondando, thanks for the kind comments. The kit was really quick to build, stopping and painting the parts like the driver and the gunner which needed to go in before the front section was stuck in place. Undercoat wise the crew I undercoated white but the carrier itself had no undercoat. I know I'm a heathen, but the vallejo brown violet gives really good coverage so why hide detail with another coat of paint if its not needed. Time wise I'm not sure it wasn't the only thing I was working on, I've got afew other projects on the go. Sorry I can't really answer that but its being on the go for a couple of weeks. Hope that helps to some degree
So thanks again for the feedback
Cheers for now
Russ
