In the somewhat near future I'm planning on expanding my alien selection from "chittering swarms of terrible spacebugs" to having something more on par with say the Covenant from Halo. I've picked out models for the infantry/scout vehicles, but I'd at least like a tank or two (or more!) to round out that force so it can hold up to my tank equipped human forces. Possibly IFVs or APCs too. So what all do you use for your panzers from other races? |

Halo micro ops toys right now, though if Khurasan Jon gets round to releasing soriog vehicles that will change. |

Although these aren't 15mm, they are 25mm so are smaller than heroic 28mm so may be OK for your purposes: link You could also try these (a similar issue with size): link link |

Anyone got a rough size on these dudes? link |

I think those are 6mm ? If you were looking for 6mm not 15, I'd recommend DRM link , link or CinC link
Or even Darkest Star Grav AFVs – link |

Better question would be which infantry line are you using? |

Our Sirrush, APC for the Chuhuac has a certain caterpillar look to it while still looking like a vehicle.
Sold through our friends at 15mm.co.uk here – link |

The current plan is to use these guys: link Once the kickstarter is complete and they're actually done and all. I've got enough projects to keep me busy for now, but the thought of building a more rounded alien force has me doing some advanced recon of sorts so I'll know loosely what I want to do come Feb or so. As far as I can tell Critical Mass is 15 MM scale. Could be wrong. The thing I posted looks sufficiently tanklike, I'm just worried that because it's a drone that it'll just be too small to possibly fit a crewman. I'm looking chiefly for tanks, an APC or IFV now that I think about it is sort of "it'd be nice" |

I use the caprice walkers from the 1/144th scale Hevy Gear line. They are suitably different and also have good size to be tank proxies for 15mm. |

GZG has a ton of different vehicles in 15mm, including some pretty cool alien designs. Brigade has a lot of good wheeled, tracked and anti-grav vehicles, not as many exotic alien designs. Rebel has some good grav-tanks. Darkest Star is starting to produce some alien grav tanks. Combat Wombat is a great company, mostly with near future vehicles, but some that might fight an alien force. All are 15mm. Lots of choices! |

Not familiar with the Covenant but if you're looking for AFVs with a bio-tank feel, I highly suggest the Horrids by Ravenstar. Really cool and alien looking. TMP link You can contact them directly for prices which, to me, seem on par with many 15mm mfr's. ravenstarstudios@charter.net Also second Loud Ninja's Sirrush, APC for the Chuhuac. I have a platoon of them and they are very well done, too. |

Id' say go with Ravenstar's landcore vehicles link |

Re: Covenant They're one of the bad-guy alien races from the Halo series of video games. A multi-species alliance, doesn't like humans. I used them as an example because I'm looking for that sort of weird middle ground of an enemy that still has tanks, squads, infantry uses shootery gun sorts of things, while being different enough to not just be the classic star trek alien of being humans with pointy ears. Re: Vehicles landcore looks about right for the tanks at least. Definitely a "tank" but not especially human. |

Not sure how alien you want them to be, but the Topgun Grav Armor range looks very different than the usual, run of the mill, modern tanks with their treads removed look: [URL=http://s43.photobucket.com/user/Top_Gun_Ace/media/15mm%20Grav%20Tanks%20and%20Armor/Type13GravTankLFQ-A.jpg.html]

Panzersaurkrautwerfer, it depends what side of the pond you live. Some additional UK based companies MJ figures do a grav tank & an apc, Old Crow do like wise . US don't forget micropanzer and their bio mechanical weapon systems. I have in the past used some 28mm alien vehicles for 15mm super tanks and land ship apcs. Good luck Guy |

Reviresco's 1/72 scale Dreenoi Cockroach is handy, as its big enough for a 15mm heavy battle tank analogue, and scale neutral enough to pass as a large gun drone in 28mm:

Hope this helps expand your alien horde!
