SAGA Storm featured 12 of the nicest battleboards and terrain I've ever seen in historical gaming. I got in 5 games with my Norse-Gael and we ended the night with a 5 on 5 megabattle that finished in 2 hours. Full story and loads of pics up on my blog.

Greatly envious! Damn blogger won't let me post to your blog, but I wanted to express how green I am right now! |

Really great scenery! I really like the stony gray mountains and may try to make my own hill with a chalk horse. Grelber |

Really impressive! BTW, the Challenge scenario has been FAQ'd so the situation with the Bersekers should not be an issue any longer. |

Interesting scenery (particularly like the horse on the hill) , but what are the classical ruins for? What part of the Viking world does that represent? I'm sure I'm being too picky ;-) |

Thanks fellows for your kind comments. Locally, we historical gamers don't usually see boards & terrain this sweet. The organizers & many players have roots in GW and fantasy gaming. It was a treat to see their skills and passion ported to "old man" gaming (aka historical). Not all the color that day was on the battleboards. My first opponent was an real Viking named Tor.
