I attended Recruits this past weekend, and had a blast. I've put up a small, somewhat myopic, report on my blog. I say myopic because I spent more time playing than wandering around photographing other games, but there may still be some photos of interest.

There are a few more shots and a lot more verbiage to see on my blog. link

Thanks for sharing your photos.

Re the one photo of a War of 1812 Battle; was it Bladensburg or North Point re the Royal Marines?

I'm a complete neophyte to the War of 1812, but if I recall correctly it was North Point. The battle took place on peninsula-type terrain. There was a small US delaying force at a strongpoint, most of the US troops were Marylanders, and the battle took place some time after the burning of Washington, if that helps. I also remember there being Jamaicans on the British side.

Sorry for the lack of photos of that game-I had taken my camera to the car, by that time, and only had my phone with me.
