With new threats arising and complexity increasing as funding declines, Gen. Not that we're in the post-Afghanistan era yet, given the continuing advisor mission there. The stress of the accumulated stresses, old and new, is already starting to show. It's going to be very bad, if those suspicious Ebola patients, and/or their neighbors kill some of our soldiers, like they did to the other aid workers a few days ago, who were trying to help them.

It's up to USAMRIID to contain these deadly infectious diseases abroad and the CDC to limit their spread if they reach our shores. Reminds me of Richard Preston's 'The Hot Zone.'
