Just finished prepping my S&S 40mm British Rifles. I've never painted this unit before and am looking for recommendations on the base green color to use. I normally use Vallejo but any brand recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance for any assistance! Regards, J. P. Kelly |

For my 95th Rifles I went the simple way. The green is simply VAL Black Green with a diluted wash of VAL Black Ink. Cheers, Burkhard For the results: link |

I use GW's base coat Caliban Green over black and highlight up from there. |

I used Dark Angel's Green from GW. Not sure what it would be called now. My Minifigs 15mm and I didn't worry about highlights. My "Flintloque" Miniatures Sharke's Rifles I just lightened the color for highlighting. John |
