Nebulon Prime is technically a board game, but it includes elements of miniature gaming and collectable card gaming. The Kickstarter is starting today. Go check it out!

Okay… First of all, the video quality is awful. It's low-res, it's a small window surrounded by black borders, and they didn't use a tripod so the cam shakes all the time. The audio is cut off at one point.

There is zero info on how the game plays in the video or the description, only that the board pieces can be rearranged. It could be a puzzle game or triangle memory for all I know.

Is it a racing game in space? ship-to-ship combat? Interstellar Empire building a la Twilight Imperium? A trading in space game? Who knows!

The boards look decent so I hope they come up with some kind of information asap on what the actual game will be about :)

I completely agree with what Cherno said.

I am on board with Cherno's comments. The other complaint I would have is the rewards are pretty useless – you don't even get a playable game. The board sections mounted on something else are equally useless, since they won't match other pieces.
In general an interesting part of a game concept

I don't think he's looking to sell a game. He's looking for the funding to create the boards from what I could tell. I think a better explanation would go a long way. Seems interesting. I like the idea of a moveable game board. Hopefully a better explanation will be forthcoming from the OP.

Based on the blurb he wrote, it seems like he hasn't played anything that has come out in the last 15 years.

This Is info about the game… nebulonprime.com/about.html

(I don't know anything about it or the KickStarter)

he cannot even present his game , not in KS video not on his page he is destined to fail…… from what he said and i read one his page (well it seems like 4x boardgame but i dont know)

Dave Crowell23 Sep 2014 7:18 p.m. PST

So after managing to read the whole page and the KickStarter page, I did not watch the video, I think this is some sort of exploration and combat game that uses cards, or maybe dice, or maybe both on some sort of modular game board marked in triangles over MASA photos, and if I want an actual playable GAME out of the Kickstarter I have to pony up a grand!

I have no idea what the MSRP on this game is supposed to be, but from the confusing mess things are in now, I'll pass.

I am embarrassed to admit I saw this being demo-ed at Recruits, but didn't take a closer look.

The name struck a bell, but I was so busy with booth, significant other, daughter, grandchildren, I played in no games nor got to do more than glance at others playing.

Major fumble, all. Maybe one of the playtesters can share?

Doug

PS It would be nice if the subject had had the name of the game, by the way.
