Does anyone make a model of this in 15mm?
More pictures at: link I know BF do an F-22 and ZIS-3 models are pretty easy to find, but does anyone do the gun that came between those (and served quite a bit in WW2)? |

Mserafin: The closest I could come up with is a 1/72 model of the captured M1939 F-22 used by the Germans:
Perhaps that is the gun you should search for in catalogs. Rod Robertson |

Thanks, Rod. But I think this manufacturer is confused. The F-22 was introduced in 1936 (and so is also called the M1936), whereas the USV was introduced in 1939. The picture on that box is a USV. A strange mistake, since they also make an F-22. The Germans made AT guns out of both types. That's why Battlefront makes one – it's included as an option in their pak36(r). The top picture on this Wiki page shows an F-22 (in front) and a USV (next one down): link I cannot get that photo to show up here, sorry. |

Mserafin: No, I believe they are two separate guns. The PaK (36)r was the captured designation for the unmodified long barreled F-22 M1936. What you are showing is the shorter barreled F-22 M1939 gun which when captured by the Germans was designated the PaK 39(r). If you are looking for the F-22 M1936 with the long barrel then Quality Castings makes a 15mm miniature of that gun. I have four of the models in firing configuration and four in travelling configuration. They are nice little models but they are huge guns! Here is an F-22 M1939: link Here is an F-22 M1936:
Here is a PaK 39(r):
Here is a PaK 36(r):
and finally here is the rebuilt PaK 36(r) modification:

No, I believe they are two separate guns. I'm pretty sure we're agreeing here. The gun you call F-22 M1939 is what I call USV M1939, but otherwise we're in agreement. |
