I found this place auggiesgamestore.com while out picking up a few things with the girlie the other day. It's small, but well stocked, with mostly board games and more than a few miniatures for sale. More importantly, the owner seems like a very nice person, is eager to teach how to play the games, and has many tables setup for game play.

It's a just off US 78 and a reasonable drive from Atlanta and Athens.

The only bad thing I can say about it is that the store isn't well marked from the outside (I went twice to find it using Google maps before my GF spotted it).

It's in a shopping plaza on Scenic Highway (a little north of where it meets US 78). If you're see a Michael's craft store from the parking lot you're in the right place. If you are facing Michael's Auggies will be in the building to your right on the second floor.

What kind, O.F.?

I'm planning to be up that way in early November. I might stop in.

He has a ton of the D&D pre-paints, the Dungeon Crawler line, and other things. You could email him and ask for more details. The owners email is on the website.
