I found this place auggiesgamestore.com while out picking up a few things with the girlie the other day. It's small, but well stocked, with mostly board games and more than a few miniatures for sale. More importantly, the owner seems like a very nice person, is eager to teach how to play the games, and has many tables setup for game play. It's a just off US 78 and a reasonable drive from Atlanta and Athens. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the store isn't well marked from the outside (I went twice to find it using Google maps before my GF spotted it). It's in a shopping plaza on Scenic Highway (a little north of where it meets US 78). If you're see a Michael's craft store from the parking lot you're in the right place. If you are facing Michael's Auggies will be in the building to your right on the second floor. |

He has a ton of the D&D pre-paints, the Dungeon Crawler line, and other things. You could email him and ask for more details. The owners email is on the website. |
