link All the Aventine Italian cavalry is unarmored. There is Etruscan cavalry, along with Roman and Pyrhic cavalry, all of which can be used for Italians.

I want to second Aventine. I have two units of allied cav of the "Etruscan" type, which, in my guesstimation, probably look good for Campanian style armored cav too – great figures that paint up very nicely, though I replaced their spears with First Corps thrusting spears. You might also consider shields with the spines on them if they don't come with them…they seem to be the more accurate ones, though I could be wrong on that (mine still have the clipeus/hoplon like the picture above…oh well…great LBM transfers for them). |

IMHO, I would go with Aventine! Also Crusader and Redout have them, but I like Aventine better. Mike Adams P.S. Hi Simon |

Relic has Tarentine cavalry (looks like light cavalry with javelins); I imagine they would work too, no? |
