I once picked up a rock to examine it along some railroad tracks. I guy I knew said that it was a common Leverite as in "leave-'er right there where you found it."

I don't think my grandfather ever found leverite. He collected rocks from every place he ever went. (It may be a Marine thing.) Lots and lots of rocks.
