Have one question.. Can 6mm flags be casted? Its obvious, that in 15mm flags must be separately added.. but in 6mm probably casted and handpainted flags looks better that printed ones? |

I still would opt for paper ones. |

Why is it obvious that larger flags can't be cast ? I've seen 15 & 20mm figures with cast flags and 6mm & 10mm with bare flagpoles as well as cast flags. I'm biased because I sell paper flags but I'd say it was a lot less effort to use paper flags and (at least for most of us) the result is likely to be better too. It also removes the need for research – assuming that the paper ones were correctly done. tinytintroops.co.uk |

I use pianowire for flagpoles for my Adlers and then paperflags. Works very well, it is easy and durable. Ideally the standardbearers should simply be cast without flagpoles. |

Thanks guys! My thoughts was – in 15mm the printed flags are crisp enough and easy overpaintable but I am not sure that 3mm x 3mm printed flags are more readable than handpainted ones. But if you say, that these are fine, then I sculpt flagbearers without flags as Sparta suggest. Thanks again. |

Paper. I've painted some of the cast ones and I'm never happy with the results. |
