The 18th Sailors Pre-Order Deal in the Galloping Major Shop

The first 4 packs each of 6 different 18th Century Sailors as a special pre-order deal which will be sent out as soon as the production castings are available. We can't say when that will be, December is the most likely estimate, but your patience will be rewarded: there'll be a special Limited Edition Soldiers Free character variant (limited to 100) which will only go out with pre-orders, so order early to avoid disappointment. He won't be included in later deal orders and is yet to be revealed.

The pre-order packs will be:

Sailors with Close Quarter Weapons 1
Sailors with Close Quarter Weapons 2
Command & Characters
Sailors with Muskets

24 Sailors plus the Limited Edition Soldiers Free figure.
The examples shown are from all 4 packs.

There was no uniform specified for naval hands at the time though the seafaring man had a highly recognisable style of dress which clearly differentiated him from the "land-lubber"; officers' uniforms in the British Royal Navy became subject to regulation from 1748. Ships' crews in the French & Indian War can man ships and boats in coastal and river operations and on the Great Lakes, as well as serving ashore in supporting roles and as landing parties from the Monongahela to Quebec and beyond. But our sailors won't, of course, be limited to service in the American colonies, nor to the service of King George: they'll serve on the high seas in actions against their national enemies and attacking enemy colonial ports, chasing down pirates, heading off smugglers in home waters and manning and bravely defending the merchant vessels preyed upon by pirates. For that reason as well as carrying our French & Indian War range logo, our sailor packs will be the first to carry our 18th Century Adventure range logo.

On a pre-order when do you charge a cc – or send a paypal invoice? when ordered or when ready to be sent?
Thanks and regards
C.

Chokidar – When ordered makes it a pre-order, helps get them into production. The pre-order is in the online shop on the website.

Thanks for asking,

Lance

Lance, I like the figures and will get them when Keith gets them here in the states. Somewhat disappointed though that I will not be able to get the special Limited Edition free figure but I have to look at shipping cost in factoring it in plus with Keith going to the cons in the east I usually pick up the new packs from him there. Oh well. Just keep producing more great figures.
