You V&B player out there. Do you typically add standards and commands to each of your bases? Thinking about basing my 28's for V&B. |

Yes, for massed bases and 15mm linear. For 28mm Linear I usually save the flags for command stands. |

Most of my bases (3x3) include an officer and a standard bearer. |

Interesting question. You probably can't get more than 4 figures across on a standard base. Maybe 2-3 figures deep. That would be a pretty low ratio of figures to command. You might try something like an officer, musician and standard in the back rank while 8 figures (4X2) advance to fight on a massed (3" deep) base. |

V&B has wing scale. You could put standards on every other base or every third base to play wing scale sometimes. That said, most of my stuff is 15mm and I use sabot bases. |

The size of the figures doesn't reduce the opportunity to place standard bearers and officers. Here are my 54mm figures based for V&B:

Of course you must have command and standards for V&B base. Each base is equivalent to a bde so you have lots of artistic licence, enjoy the ride. |

Thanks. Yes maybe one per division would work. |
