Nicely done. Congrats on the milestone on your blog. Place some flowers at the base of the memorial. 😄 |

That is wonderful, so is your other work seen on your blog page. Well done. A versatile piece that could appear in numerous scenarios over different time periods and genres. May I hazard a guess that you once attended the Model Engineering Exhibition at Wembley (and other venues) and admired the miniature houses and gardens on display. Your work reminds me of those shows. Excellent, and wonderful memories for me. |

I think we should see your smashing piece there every Remembrance Sunday, with appropriate wreaths laid upon it, and maybe a small parade? |

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys – it was a fun piece to put together.. Captain DEwell 'May I hazard a guess that you once attended the Model Engineering Exhibition at Wembley (and other venues) and admired the miniature houses and gardens on display. Your work reminds me of those shows. Excellent, and wonderful memories for me' Gosh that brings back memories. My old man used to drag me along to Wembley…that must have been in the late seventies To be honest most of what I am building is coming from my imagination and the inspiration I find here and on other fourms |
