We just wanted to let everyone know that Dad has been home for almost 3 weeks and has been released today by his Occupational Therapist. His home health nurse now comes every other week but he still has Physical Therapy for another month at least. The good news is Physical Therapy has been reduced to 3 days a week. But Christy and I have him the rest of the time and we would make Jack Webb proud! We'd like to thank everyone for their continued concern, thoughts, prayers and patience as we deal with this. The wargaming community has always been there when our family needed them and for that, we are truly, truly grateful. It's one of the mainstays of our hobby and sorely needed in recent times as we all deal with our daily battles, miniature and otherwise. So now I need to remind you all that Colonial Barracks IV is 2 months away (Nov. 7-9, 2014). And knowing this has played a big part in Dad's recovery. So I need you game-masters who haven't, to send me your details so we can get the schedule finalized and I can cut back on my "cat-herding" for a bit. Follow this link for complete convention info. And we hope to see many of you in New Orleans in a few months. sergeants3.com |

Lori and Christy, I'm very glad to hear your Leatherneck is back in barracks where he should be. I hope his convalescence continues at a rapid pace and he's fit for service to report to duty at Colonial Barracks 2014! Best regards, Jeff |

Amen, Sgt. Guiness! Lori & Christy, thanks for the update on your dad's continuing recovery. All us Colonial gamers hope and pray it continues and that he is able to enjoy attending Colonial Barracks IV, which will no doubt be a great success! Yours truly, Ethan |

Lori; GREAT news indeed. Larry is very much missed at both RECON and HURRICON down here in Orlando. Please let him know, in his honor, a The Sword and the Flame weekend is being run in 2 weeks at HURRICON with continual games based on TSATF and various variations. Have to see you get some pictures to share with him. |
