A few words about some of the new traders :-
Antenociti Workshop will be here this year with all their awesome 28mm sci fi range. I don't think they will have all of their incredible scenic and modelling accessories so if you want any of these make sure you put an order in with them for pick up at the show. (I will be)

Citadel six is a new trader with us, though many of you will be familiar with their lovely heraldic devices

Conquest Games the makers of the 28mm plastic Normans suitable for Saga will be back

Frontline military books / Paterchurch missed a year in 2013 but are back with us now.

Hawk Wargames makers of "Dropzone Commander" will be with us for the 1st time

Minimi have a range of largely 20mm WW2 models plus some lovely 28mm pirate boats.

The Square are back with us this year with their excellent range of scenic accessories.

Sadly I have to announce Prodos will not now be attending.

Dont't forget that we still have all our old favourites. Most of them are pretty much exactly where they always are so you can find them. Peter pig has been moved to the right of the hall (at his request) to a nicer more spacious stand.

Yours

I like Warfare. The only problem with it is Reading's nightmare one way-system. I got completely lost trying to get out of the place last year!

Aliosborne12 Sep 2014 7:26 a.m. PST

You can only go one way though

Sorry couldn't resist that one

Looking forward to this show saving up too much I want to buy. I'm so glad there is a bring and buy as need the extra dosh to get more stuff :-)

Yes, the one way system can be a real pain. There are about three ways you can go. Mostly it is due to the old route being cut off for motorway access roads.
The sat navs are quite good.

See you there

Just a little bump to remind you all that it is only a little over amonth to Warfare.

Sadly due to an error at Wargames Illustrated our advert did not appear this month, but never fear, the advert is in other magazines, and of course the show is very much alive and kicking.

We will be having our superb Bring and Buy as ever and in addition I believe there are some private tables that have been hired out for 2 hour slots by individuals to sell their wargaming goodies so make sure you pop into the B&B several times to see all the new stuff

Andy
PS Women and children free.

"PS Women and children free."

I am already married with a daughter so cannot take up this excellent offer :)

Seriously, I have said it before and will say it again that free entry for our better halves and future wargamers is one of the reasons I like Warfare so much.

Good show usually- I'll be there.

Only 2 weeks to go. See you all there….

Dervel Fezian31 Oct 2014 10:54 a.m. PST

oops, just posted a question about this and missed the bump…

I plan to be in England that weekend. If so, I wanted to attend, would people suggest staying in Reading or taking a train from London?

Old Peculiar31 Oct 2014 11:14 a.m. PST

You can usually pick up some good hotel deals in Reading making a weekend at the show viable. If you only plan going for one day though I would take the train.
