I have been using Kallistra commercial terrain on a project and blogging on it. A gamer has followed the project but is doing his own terrain pieces . he has done 3 posts, which will inspire anyone who fancies having a go at putting their own hexboard together.

his results are impressive and as he says, his materials have been low cost. I am particularly impressed how uniform his cork hexes have turned out. I have tried that often, failed and thus went down the commercial route.
