link I recently found this website about the 149th Engineer Battalion. There is a good amount of photos but also some original artwork from a member of the unit Preston E. Bagent. Trying to research the site's origin is disappointing me, as far as I can tell Mr. Bagent passed away in 2002 and there is no contact info I can find. The reason this is fascinating me is My Father in Law (who passed away 2005) was a fellow member of his company and I've been looking over the photos with a fine tooth comb looking for him. But of the ones that have names attached there are really only a small group, which doesn't surprise me because I remember in the military you do only hang out with a small group or at least it was with me and seeing g others do the same. Getting back I would like to see if originator of the site would like to add to them |
