We may be sending these WWII Russian figures off to Vancouver for painting, but they'll eventually reach Thailand - because that's where DJD Miniatures conducts operations...

Another fun little project for a sci-fi utility location (landing pad, maintenance bay, industrial area, etc.), using this stuff …

… and lots of duct tape!

Very clever! Great use of the lighting effects. This would work well for Battletech too.

Nice work. You're always pushing the limit of cheap gaming and I like it!

Good stuff. I like the concrete effect. I might steel that for some of my projects.

Thanks, all!

I hadn't thought of using it for BattleTech (well …Mechwarrior), but yeah, it would make a nice imposing structure there.

I've used the sand/paint/wood glue (or PVA) on a lot of projects that have lasted years. Make sure you seal the final piece. The combo of glue, layers of paint, and a top coat of sealant makes it pretty tough.

I get my el wire from Amazon:
