Huh – how have I managed to miss this site until now? Excellent stuff; I'll be watching out for further developments. |

Holy crap, I'm with colgar6, how did I miss this up until now? Any chance you could put a rush order on the FSE and NSL fleet books? Oh, and the Kra'Vak lol. Also, how well do these books 'match up' with the original fleet books? I've been collecting the FT models for many a year now and I have large fleets containing models from both the original ranges (covered by the original GZG fleet books) and the new ones. |

The site is brand new, so no surprise there. Nice work, I do have a question; why the 'Free ADFC' option on all ESU ships? -Will |
jimklein1966 | 11 Sep 2014 10:37 a.m. PST |
Yes the site is new. Were working in cooperation with Jon at GZG and Hugh Fisher, author of FTXD. Were in the process of expanding upon his great set of rules as we speak. To answer wminsing's question abt the ADFC, its a rule option in FT Continuum. All ships over 20 mass may include an ADFC for 8 points but no mass. See continuum for an explanation of why that rule came about. As i said tho, it is entirely optional so if ur group doesnt care for it, by all means ignore it. You wont break anything. :). |

Glad you all like the site! If you have time please drop Jon at GZG and tell him that were doing a good job. :) |

Nice FT supplements there. In the Star Trek Federation supplement, do you know who painted the minis? |
jimklein1966 | 11 Sep 2014 4:45 p.m. PST |
Thanks! The old school models were painted by me. Most are made by ADB. |

Just wanted to point out that Colgar6 is 'another Hugh' who has contributed a great deal of material for FT. I assumed you folks talked together… ;->= colgar6.blogspot.com Doug |
jimklein1966 | 11 Sep 2014 8:53 p.m. PST |
Oh yes, weve chatted from time to time. Weve used his random event cards in several of our AARS. Great fun! |

This is a fantastic initiative guys. One of the issues our group had with getting into FT was not being able to agree on the "set" of rules to use – there were a few out there! But with an amalgamated and consistent rule set (plus tonnes of fleet manuals), what's not to love? -Tim |
jimklein1966 | 12 Sep 2014 10:14 a.m. PST |
Thanks :). Glad you like how things are coming along. Amalgamated set of rules coming! |
billclo | 12 Sep 2014 12:06 p.m. PST |
Doug, how about uploading the rules/fleet books on a flash drive, and take to a local print shop (I would use Staples around here, but I don't know what you have available where you are)? I wouldn't even consider printing the Fleet books, considering what my fancy printer costs to feed, what with 8 ink cartridges @$9-11 each (last I checked, which isn't recently). |

Are you planning on more ST Fleet Books for this project? |

jimklein1966 | 12 Sep 2014 9:46 p.m. PST |
No more Star Trek books planned for awhile. We want to finish the rest of the FT major powers and the rule book rewrite first |
Brother Jim | 13 Sep 2014 7:06 a.m. PST |
Thanks for the response jimklein1966. That's why I couldn't find it….I don't do facebook. People that aren't supporting members can't PM here (unemployment sucks). I'll just be patient and wait for it on the Skunkworks site. . . . . But if you want to email it to me jimapplegarth at yahoo dot com Thanks again |

@Billco Sorry, missed your comment til now. Actually, as I use a work printer, it's all said in jest. Now, if Nook did PDF's as well as I was led to believe, I would have not bothered printing anything besides SSD… Doug |
