Hey Guys,

I thought you might like this, I'm working on doing a set of terrain for the Battle of Peta in 1822 which was part of the Greek war of Independence against the Ottoman empire. Anyway, here's a map of the overall battle area ….

That actual table is going to be 5'x6' section ….

As you can see, it's quite hilly :-)

Hill B which is a feature hill was done first as a test piece for the hill style and colour etc, so the table is going to follow this theme …

There's the rest of the battlefield slowly taking shape …

i love threads like this.

great job! and please continue to post about the terrain projects.

what's the white stuff at the base of the hills? is that more foam or a spackle of some kind?

The Battle of People Eating Tasty Animals? I am SO there!

Sorry, I had to. Regardless of my poor attempt at humor, what you have accomplished thus far is really kick arse! Hill B looks great.

Thanks guys.

@Stew Art – It's expanded polystyrene mate.

@Buckeye – It may have been poor but it made me smile mate ;-)

It's certainly been a challenge to represent the style of the landscape whilst making it playable for a rank and file ruleset. Just about ready to start adding the rock texture but I've got to make an additional 1' end cap for the Northern ridge, which will make this the 6' beast!

I'll post again once it's all textured up and ready for painting. In the meantime, if you have any questions, fire away!

Great looking terrain! Very impressive build quality.

Cheers mate :-)

Finished the build, here's some pics of the journey …

It was a monstrous project but I'm quite happy with how they turned out. There's a build overview vid on my channel if you want to know how I did them …

Hope you liked the build gents.
